Nah, I just check my bank. At this point in a very messed up tax season I've about had it with all of this. I found out some auditors at the IRS are still working even if it's from home. Spent an hour on the phone with one earlier today about a client who hasn't filed in five years. Nice enough guy but he couldn't get me some info I asked for because being at home he doesn't have full access to the IRS systems for security reasons. Not a problem though, he gave us an extra 30 days on the account and then said don't worry about it if we need more time, the virus has everything messed up.

The IRS direct deposited two $1200 amounts in my personal account.The CPA said we would receive $68,000 to cover some direct employs next week. We don't get anything for the 1099 guys. Our sales are doing a bit better. I assume losses of somewhere around $900,000 on the operations here in Homestead.
I have no idea what will happen next growing season. I may have to reduce the business by 50%. I may even have to close.
My wife is really sick...two compression fractures in her back. I have had her in the hospital twice in the middle of this Covid-19 mess.
Money don't mean a damn thing when you can not solve your wife's health issues.
Nothing you got is of any value without your family.

Here is the latest IRS update concerning stimulus payments for those who haven't gotten theirs yet: May 8, 2020
Act by Wednesday for chance to get quicker Economic Impact Payment; timeline for payments continues to accelerate
WASHINGTON – With a variety of steps underway to speed Economic Impact Payments, the Treasury Department and the Internal Revenue Service urged people to use Get My Payment by noon Wednesday, May 13, for a chance to get a quicker delivery.
The IRS, working in partnership with Treasury Department and the Bureau of Fiscal Services (BFS), continues to accelerate work to get Economic Impact Payments to even more people as soon as possible. Approximately 130 million individuals have already received payments worth more than $200 billion in the program’s first four weeks.
Starting later this month, the number of paper checks being delivered to taxpayers will sharply increase. For many taxpayers, the last chance to obtain a direct deposit of their Economic Impact Payment rather than receive a paper check is coming soon. People should visit Get My Payment on IRS.gov by noon Wednesday, May 13, to check on their payment status and, when available, provide their direct deposit information.
“We’re working hard to get more payments quickly to taxpayers,” said IRS Commissioner Chuck Rettig. “We want people to visit Get My Payment before the noon Wednesday deadline so they can provide their direct deposit information. Time is running out for a chance to get these payments several weeks earlier through direct deposit.”
After noon Wednesday, the IRS will begin preparing millions of files to send to BFS for paper checks that will begin arriving through late May and into June. Taxpayers who use Get My Payment before that cut-off can still take advantage of entering direct deposit information.
How Get My Payment works
The Get My Payment tool provides eligible taxpayers with a projected Economic Impact Payment deposit date. The information is updated once daily, usually overnight. There is no need to check more than once a day. Taxpayers who did not choose direct deposit on their last tax return can use this tool to input bank account information to receive their payment by direct deposit, expediting receipt.
Non-Filers portal remains available
For those not required to file a federal tax return, the Non-Filers: Enter Payment Info Here tool helps them submit basic information to receive an Economic Impact Payment quickly to their bank account. Developed in partnership between the IRS and the Free File Alliance, this tool provides a free and easy option for those who don’t receive Social Security retirement, survivor or disability benefits (SSDI), Railroad Retirement benefits, Supplemental Security Income (SSI) and VA Compensation and Pension (C&P) benefits. The Non-filers tool is also available in Spanish.
Eligible taxpayers who filed tax returns for 2019 or 2018 will receive the payments automatically. Automatic payments will also be sent to those receiving Social Security retirement, disability benefits, Railroad Retirement benefits, Veterans Affairs benefits or Supplemental Security Income soon.
Watch out for scams related to Economic Impact Payments
The IRS urges taxpayers to be on the lookout for scams related to the Economic Impact Payments. To use the new app or get information, taxpayers should visit IRS.gov. People should watch out for scams using email, phone calls or texts related to the payments. Be careful and cautious: The IRS will not send unsolicited electronic communications asking people to open attachments, visit a website or share personal or financial information.There are links embedded in this article that don't paste. I have really been surprised it's taken so long for Social Security and SSI recipients to get the payments. Initially it looked like they were going to be the first to go out but not so. Very good news for me. My wife is off the narcotics without any withdrawal symptoms. Advil is controlling the back pain. Dealing with any medical issue other than Covid-19 is a real nightmare. So far medicare has paid 100% for everything.
After three trips to the ER they finally admitted her but after two days they discharged her and told me to go find other doctors to deal with the issues. Unbelievable what is going on in the hospitals at the moment.
The government direct deposited the $68K in my account to pay employees.
In the last week the sales have gone crazy and I now think I will actually sell out before the end of May. That is a far cry from the way things were going on my 4/28/2020 post.
We have 28 employees and so far no one has the Corona virus. Perhaps working outside here in the tropics has something to do with it. I was able to acquire 500 RN95 mask for the guys after much difficulty.$2300 for the mask which will last less than one month. The state inspector came by and said they could use any cloth face covering. I guess the government really does not care if farm workers live or die.
I got an order for 200,000 plants at $6 each for next year from a client in Texas. That means all my guys will have a job and I will not have to let anyone go.
Perhaps I can even go back to being retired and playing guitar and fishing!!!
