After listening to all of the demos of the latest real tracks, guess I'm hooked to upgrade. I think BIAB is headed in the right direction and is ahead of the arranger keyboards at the moment. I hardly touch mine, preferring BIAB instead. However, I wish we had a few more varieties of the western swing style and the uptempo country swings, with the walking bass line. I suppose the demo PATS1GP gets closest to what I'm looking for. Also, I didn't hear much in the way of background fiddle parts in the new swing styles. Maybe they're there and I missed them. Finally, BIAB seems to have much of the country rock, traditional, folk, Hank, etc. covered. And the Country Electric Guitar is super. Sure sounds like Brent Mason's hot licks in there. Most of my gigging time is spent on jazz standards, bossas, and ballads. I just happen to like medium-to-up country swing and wish we had more of it, especially if it has a "jazzy" flavor to it.
