A very poignant listen. Janice's vocal very well covers the weary resignation of a parent in this world. The change of meter under the title line perfectly frames this. "Enjoy" is not a word to use, but it was a time of listening and reflecting and identifying that was much appreciated. The band softly supports and the mix sits just right. Peter leads the band here, even though I expect he came "last". Wonderfully summed up in his play. Thank you. Peter has a genuine feel for supporting not only the groove but also the feel of the lyric. We are glad you liked it. J&B Love the "...wish on a star, ...that's just the way things are" hook Bud. One of my new fav Janice vocals and loved the guitar tone Peter used - fit like a glove. Thank you Josie! J&B WOW!!! This is a forum Wall of Famer for sure!! Everything is beautifully done!! Everything!!! An instant classic!!! Take care. Greg Thanks Greg. J&B Hi, Janice.Bud & Peter !:)) This tune is very, very good in every aspect, Janice´s vocals Bud´s mixing and Peter´s playing not to forget those lyrics ! What a wonderful collab I like it very much !
Cheers Dani Thanks for listening and commenting Dani. J&B

J&B, I think this is one of your best lyrics, Bud; engaging, accurate details of a child`s view and you can just hear the mum & dad`s caring, universal response. Wonderful warmth and phrasing in Janice`s vocal- of course!!

J&B Hi Janice, Bud and Peter man this is good!! the vocal was super great changes guitar work fit perfect loved the lyrics thanks for sharing Eric Thank you Eric. We are glad you liked it. J&B

Hi Folks (Janice and Bud),
Wow, really poignant lyrics. Captures the "lost age of innocence" we all live in.
Yet, the vocals somehow bring a soothing touch to them...
Wow

J&B and Peter, this is a good one! The lyrics really penetrate the heart! Great vocal perfomance Janice! Peter's guitar has such good feeling in it...the bends and vibratos are super! As always from you guys the song is top notch! Thanks, Torrey

The Band-in-a-Box® Flash Drive Backup Option
Today (April 5) is National Flash Drive Day!
Did you know... not only can you download your Band-in-a-Box® Pro, MegaPAK, or PlusPAK purchase - you can also choose to add a flash drive backup copy with the installation files for only $15? It even comes with a Band-in-a-Box® keychain!
For the larger Band-in-a-Box® packages (UltraPAK, UltraPAK+, Audiophile Edition), the hard drive backup copy is available for only $25. This will include a preinstalled and ready to use program, along with your installation files.
Backup copies are offered during the checkout process on our website.
Already purchased your e-delivery version, and now you wish you had a backup copy? It's not too late! If your purchase was for the current version of Band-in-a-Box®, you can still reach out to our team directly to place your backup copy order!
Note: the Band-in-a-Box® keychain is only included with flash drive backup copies, and cannot be purchased separately.
Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? If your flash drive (or other USB plug) doesn't have a symbol to indicate which way is up, look for the side with a seam on the metal connector (it only has a line across one side) - that's the side that either faces down or to the left, depending on your port placement.
