Hi Gary, This might help you. I also encountered the same problem. The answer you may or may not want to hear is there is another software you can buy that helps a lot. https://www.nch.com.au/wavepad/index.htmlIt's fairly cheap right now and it has quite a few cool features. It's also user friendly. I'm not endorsing this software or trying to promote it, I just tried it and it worked for me.
