I tried that and when I right click, I get a drop down menu that does not reference a way to change the patch. If I then go over to the mixer to change the patch, the result is the same: the patch name changes but still plays as an Acoustic Piano. You press F5 NOT right click. I'm sorry if I messed you up

Band-in-a-Box 2026 Video: AI Stems & Notes - split polyphonic audio into instruments and transcribe
This video demonstrates how to use the new AI-Notes feature together with the AI-Stems splitter, allowing you to select an audio file and have it separated into individual stems while transcribing each one to its own MIDI track. AI-Notes converts polyphonic audio—either full mixes or individual instruments—into MIDI that you can view in notation or play back instantly.
