hola,que modulo de sonidos externo me recomendais para el biab??estoy muy verde con los vsti y creo que un modulo externo sera mas facil de usar y mejorara el sonido en biab.

Hola Tolailama, Hay usuarios de Band-in-a-Box que prefieren usar un módulo externo en lugar de instrumentos virtuales. Lo primero que hay que considerar al usar un módulo o teclado externo con sonidos propios es que al momento de grabar la canción ya lista, se deberá proporcionar la señal de audio desde el módulo hasta la PC. Esto significa que el sistema de renderizado por instrumentos virtuales (VSTi) de la mezcla de la canción ya no se podrá realizar con la función DROP (Caer) donde solo basta con arrastrar los instrumentos a la pista Maestro y luego arrastrar hasta el escritorio o cualquier parte o carpeta en el explorer de Windows. Por la experiencia de nuestros usuarios, dos de los módulos favoritos son el Ketron SD1000 Pro Sound Module y el Ketron SD 2, ambos GM (General MIDI) los cuales contienen extensos bancos de sonidos de todas las familias que responden automáticamente a todos los mensajes MIDI y de cambio de programa compatibles con GM. Ketron SD-1000 GM moduleKetron SD-2 GM moduleEn lo personal he tenido muy buena experiencias con los módulos de Roland XV-5050 y XV-5080 los cuales se consiguen a muy buen precio en el mercado de usados, ya que son módulos cuyo lanzamiento data de varios años y se encuentran descontinuados, pero su sonido a nivel de GM continúa siendo excelente. Entre los modelos más recientes y actuales pero mucho mas costosos podrían mencionarse el Roland Integra-7 SuperNATURAL. De Roland igualmente los siguientes modelos son una excelente alternativa a bajo y mediano costo aunque algunos de ellos solo se consigan en el mercado de usados: Roland Edirol SD-90 Studio Canvas MIDI Sound Module, Roland SD-50 SD50 Mobile Studio Canvas, Roland JV-1010 JV 1010 64 Voice Synthesizer Module MIDI GM, Roland SC-88Pro SC88 Sound Canvas y el pequeño pero funcional Roland Edirol SD-20De Yamaha podemos mencionar el Yamaha Mu2000, Yamaha MU-series como el Yamaha Mu-128 Sound Module, de la marca Korg el NS5R Igualmente algunos de ellos solo disponibles en el mercado de usados. Hola Tolailama, He observado tu inquietud sobre el tema de los plugins de instrumentos virtuales VSTi. Debo decirte que Band-in-a-Box puede configurarse para lograr un excelente sistema de alta calidad de audio musical e instrumental utilizando VSTi e igualmente en conjunción con los RealTracks y RealDrums y se pueden obtener sorprendentes resultados. En mi opinión contar con un módulo externo es una excelente opción para explorar aún mas el espectro de posibilidades, y si bien es recomendable para actuaciones en vivo no es indispensable para el trabajo en casa. Con un poco de paciencia, las preguntas en el foro, referencias en la red, la lectura del manual y la ayuda etc. podrás ir aumentando tu experiencia con los VSTi y su vinculación con BIAB y alcanzar el objetivo mas rápido de lo que piensas, aprendiendo técnicas y tips, por ejemplo la sustitución de pistas MIDI con los RealTracks y RealDrums. !un universo muy grande de posibilidades! También debemos mencionar las extensas posibilidades que se abren por medio del uso de nuestro plugin Band-in-a-Box® VST DAW Plugin el cual como dice su descripción: Con el complemento VST, puede escribir acordes, elegir el estilo que desee y generar su arreglo desde la comodidad de su estación de trabajo de audio digital (DAW). Hemos tomado las funciones que más te gustan en nuestra aplicación clásica Band-in-a-Box y creamos un complemento que se puede usar en el DAW que elijas.
En el siguiente ejemplo de audio he tomado un archivo de canción de Band-in-a-Box en formato de instrumentos MIDI, y lo he procesado a través de diferentes instrumentos virtuales. En el ejemplo la primera parte es utilizando el plugin Coyote (0:00 - 0:16) y en seguida (0:17 - 0:31) el mismo segmento procesado con VSTi de alta calidad (incluyendo la batería) mas un RealTrack para sustituir la guitarra midi acústica de cuerdas de metal folk rasgueada. La comparación continúa en los dos siguientes segmentos de la canción con Coyote (0:32 - 0:43) y finaliza con los VSTi seleccionados (0:44 - End) Esta comparativa nos enseña como haciendo buen uso de los plugins VSTi en combinación con los RealTracks podremos lograr excelentes resultados.
