This doesn't happen all the time, but often enough:
In an existing file I create a soloist through Generate and play. The soloist wav sounds on the drum track, together with the drums! When I mute that track both soloist and drum disappear. Meanwhile, on the soloist track I hear a midi version of the solo! When I export the drum track as wav I get drums and soloist combined in one file. This is so weird.
When I restart BIAB it may all return to normal (i.e. soloist wav on soloist track), but then agian it may not. Can't find any system in it, so suggestions would be appreciated.

Very unusual given that the soloist gets muted when you mute the drums track, it sounds as though there is another track somewhere that is taking on the mute setting also.
What version, exactly, of BiaB are you running?

That definitely sounds unusual - as VideoTrack asked, let us know the exact version you are using.
It could be worthwhile for you to forward us one of these song files as an attachment to support@pgmusic.com for us to look into it. If we can see the issue occurring on a song file in person we may get some ideas.

I'll send you a file. In this case, both drum and soloist can be heard on drum track, while the soloist track is empty.

Does it occur with a number of songs or is it one song in particular that creating the issue? As a starting place when solving problems, my fist plan of attack is to... 1. Fully shut down the computer and restart it. This sometimes solves the problem. 2. If the problem persists, then under "Options" in BIAB, click on the option to "Return to MOST factory settings". 3. If that doesn't work, my next step is, again under "Options", to click on the option to "Return to ALL factory settings". After using this option it is necessary to reset MIDI and audio drivers. Is it possible for you to share one of the files that are causing the issue? To this, follow the instructions at the link below on posting an image. These days, it's possible to post BIAB song files in EXACTLY the same manner.... that is, upload them using the forums' File Manager. https://www.pgmusic.com/forums/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=386690#Post386690Regards, Noel

Out of interest, what is the color of the text on the drums track (and others), Yellow, Green, Orange?
