I convinced frequent BIAB forum poster Icelander to play vibes on one of my songs, called 'Willow'.

https://youtu.be/UVXVcQ_lgkU

The piano is MIDI material pulled from:
RealTracks in song: 454:Piano, Acoustic, Soloist Jazz Sw 140
RealTracks in song: 3484:Piano, Acoustic, Soloist JazzBluesMiles Sw 140
And also:
Willow v2 - 2960 Bass Neil
Willow v2-Drums - JazzBrushed2FeelAtB

Featuring:
Jay Davidson, tenor sax
Eddie Icelander, vibes
Dan Gutwein, also/bass flutes

Feel free to share the link.

Ehem...maybe you shouldn't oversell my tiny contribution to this one. It's obviously your very cool tune, your fine guitars and that sultry sax that are the stars of the show here.

Always something special about getting feedback from staff in here, not to mention from "The Man" himself! blush
But again I must stress I did very little in this one... in fact, after hearing the finalised product, I realised that its creator has graciously increased my part with some very clever editing, that's how tiny my part actually was.
So I'm not just playing 'faux humble' here when I say that all the praise should go to those deserving, namely the creator of the tune and that very high level professional sax.
I was just happy to be invited for the ride smile

Oh, yeah! You guys are all right. Man, this is a sweet cake you baked, Ray, and coated it with a thick icing. Your contribution was not overstated, Icelander. This is great music, and a wonderful video.

Enjoy whatever happens!

WOW! This is absolutely fantastic. This sounds like jazz from the early 60's and I loved it! Wes meets Lionel with Coltrane, Mingus, Tatum and Cobb as backing musicians.

This is jazz from one of the best eras of jazz music.

Excellent work gentlemen!

Thanks, Greg. Glad you like it. The whole tune just came together one morning while sitting on the couch. I keep paper and pencil nearby at all times, just in case...
