Hi Charlie,Good song and video but when I took a look at "money" I thought that was great. It was funny and catchy and the way you edited the video was excellent. Its the type of song that should be played on mainstream radio in my opinion.Cheers Frankie

Charlie, I just love your stuff. You've got the whole recording thing totally nailed - all the sounds are great and superbly mixed, you old pro you!
And the video, jeez you must be a pro in the industry surely?
Originality quotient: off the scale. Entertainment quotient: ditto. Loved it.

Gibson, thanks a lot. I'm glad you liked it. Always love your comments.

tributeman, thanks for listening and your feedback. I'm glad you liked 'Money' as well. It's one of my favorites that I've done.

John, thanks a lot. Means a lot coming from you because your songs are always first rate. I used to be an old honky-tonk musician for years, bout as 'industry pro' as I got.

Bob, appreciate the listen and your comments.

Hey Charlie,

That's the best thing I've seen in ages. Great song, great video and I love your voice.
Your singing got me in a ZZ-Top kinda mood.

Way ta go. I watched it a few times and made my wife watch. She usually just humors me, but she just loved it. Now I hope she doesn't expect me to do something as good you.

Thanks for sharing buddy,
Wayne,

p.s. you ever been to Cuero, TX?

Wayne, I'm glad you and your wife liked the song. Especially glad you liked my singing. I guess that's my feigned rock voice as of late. I grew up on rock but sang country the last years of my club playing. Always had a rock 'n' roll heart, though. Cuero, TX? May have been through there but the name doesn't ring a bell.

rharve, thanks for the listen and comments. Glad you liked it. Always good to hear from you. And I definitely, always enjoy listening to your songs.

Echoing others here, but brilliant and highly inventive to boot.

It's all been said at this point, Charlie. Excellent all around.

BTW: It's been 50 years or so since I had anything to do with "Old Crow." I didn't know that rotten tasting stuff was still around.

Sam, thanks for listening and your comments. I probably prefer 'Money', too. Emma is my grandaughter. I took that video of her a year or so ago.

lkmuller, thanks for listening and your feedback. Glad you enjoyed it. DJ volumes? Not sure I understand what you mean. Maybe samples, loops? I have a few of them and used a few in the song.

Don, thanks a lot. Yes, Old Crow still survives. I bought that pint (still the cheapest thing going) for the bottle. Gave the whiskey to my brother and filled the bottle with diet coke and a little water to get that look. I haven't drank in years myself and was suprised that the brand was still around when I went in the liquor store.

Charlie,
This is outstandingly good.
You really master a range of skills and technologies. In addition you have a fine ear for a tune and a great sense of humour.
This song and video are an inspiration to all home musicians.

Respect,

Marc

RickeG, thanks for the listen and comments. I did the video here at home with the help of my daughter and her friend. I bought a green backdrop in order to have more than one scene at a time. I actually needed better lighting than I had so I used the transparency that you see in the video (that I luckily just stumbled upon while playing with the settings).

Noel, certainly appreciate the kind words. Always great to hear things such as that.

Marc, what can I say? Your words really make my day. Thanks so much.

Keep 'em coming! Everything's been said already - what can I say. Love your work.
What video software are you using if you don't mind sharing?
