Easily your most accessible song since I've been here, but still lots of nice images and devices. "Like Hollywood" was my favorite. Great work!

Hi Robert,

I knew I was going to like this from the first bar and it didn't disappoint.

A completely beautiful song, which I felt could have been written by Tim Hardin, who
I discovered in the 60s and still rate as one of the best lyricists I've encountered.

High spots? Your emotive vocal delivery and the part where the cello makes an appearance.

Wonderful.

ROG.

You know I have to say something about the lyrics. I had to read the lyrics before I listened to read it as poetry. Yes! One of your best.

The title intrigued me when I saw it on the forum. Good one.

The instrumentation and the melody paired perfectly with the lyrics.

Tough to keep the song from becoming a long list. Thanks for your listen and comments.

Of many good lines, these might be our favorites.

The Cleopatra/Dick/Liz reference certainly gets your attention.
At least for those of us who remember some of the classics.

Your voice and the band really highlighted the great imagery all
through the song and the mix sparkles on the monitors.

We're glad you rediscovered your 30 year old note.

Enjoyed it!

J&B

J&B,
I guess that Dick & Liz reference dates me- though maybe not as much as the Mr Darcy inclusion!
Thanks for those very kind comments.

You made my day with the reference to Tim Hardin; I`m a few lifetimes from reaching his level, but still trying...many thanks for your generous review!
