There are a couple of issues with the Utub bloke's suggestion.
1. If you put a saturation plug on every track you're adding a lot of similar sounding "dirt" to each track.Across a project this amount of similar sound - actually mostly similar noise - you'll end up with LOTS of that in the stereo/main bus.
2. This build up will, often, appear as mid mud or a hissy bump, depending on what plus was used, which then has to be dealt with.
3. All of that tape speed, tape width, tape formulation stuff is pretty flimsy fantasy. They are just varying degrees of noise added based, one hopes, on decent analysis and emulation.

I use the PSP Vintage Warmer2 which is a compressor/saturator that does the same job as the one in the video - adds compression, (the sort that running a tape recorder with hit recording levels) and degrees of noise/distortion. BUT PSP VM2 doesn't pretend to be a tape machine. [video:youtube]https://youtu.be/5Fpm1Vs69Qk?t=981[/video]
Creating groups and bussing/folder managing them can allow a user to add saturation to a group of tracks sparingly as the mind set is different.
Adding some saturation to the final/stereo/master bus is fine too but again listen for the noise & the build up.
The best recorded example of this build up is Exile on Main Street: Jagger & Richards decided to produce it but didn't know any technical stuff so recorded to tape without noise reduction or without taking into account tape noise, (NR or maxing the signal levels to the tape to reduce the amount). The LPs released sound good but they aren't clean or pristine because there's a LOT of tape noise built up. The famous bootlegger Mick Boy did a rendering of that album,(https://rateyourmusic.com/release/unauth/the-rolling-stones/mickboy-remasters-main-street-revisited-exile-album-outtakes/), and many others, without much of the noise - it sounds rather different. Being that I'm used to & expect the noise I prefer the original.
If you want to add pleasant noise (the stuff we learnt to like on LPs, cassettes, reel2reels etc), then use a saturator but watch out...If you've not the ears to hear what it's actually doing, and most of us haven't, then you could end up with a mess.

i got a freebie version with presonus but upgraded to the full version which is not extortionately expensive.

https://klanghelm.com/contents/products/SDRR/SDRR.php

it has presets for various instruments but also for main mix where it can add a tube/tape warmth which avoids the noise on every track issue but gives you an overall effect

i like it and it gets good reviews

‘Warming up digital mixes is quite simple’. Roll off the highs with a shelving filter. Done.

maybe it's just my ears but the 'warm up' i get from tape or tube saturation is more akin to old analog recordings than a simple eq change. and the great thing is it's variable used as an aux effect on single tracks. that's how i use the simple saturation knob plugin, remembering Matt Finley's excellent advice to 'turn it up until you hear it then back off' or words to that effect

This is one of the very, very rare times that I can sense some “advantage” to being old with thoroughly shot ears. Given that I stay away from such additions.

Fortunately Janice can hear a hummingbird peep outside through closed windows smile

When I want this effect I use the same simple saturation knob and technique.

I haven't lost all of my marbles but there is a small hole in the bag someplace!
