I don't need to understand the lyrics to know a good song when I hear one and this is a very good song.
Super backing tracks that fit the vocal perfectly. Christian is a very good singer. Your instrumentation is spot on.
You both should be very proud of this one.

Lovely song and performances.
I THINK the vocal is suffering some "proximity effect" from the intimate closeness to the microphone - a little lower mid and low end subtraction would help that - not much needed though as those sounds create the sense of intimacy.
