I promised myself I'd catch up with other things (work-related, etc.) and not write so much until I do so, but ... I can't keep away from the Band-in-a-Box software, it seems :-) Anyway, here's the latest track I finished this morning ... I hope you like it. Today, I walk around once more Retracing my footsteps through the past ... I step outside, the sun shines bright, I am where we first met, at last. Alas, there is no stunning girl To sit where you once sat with me; I sit me down and hide a tear At the still powerful memory. A nice backing track. A good lyric.
A good pace on your vocal. Just a little loud compared to your tracks and a very slight bit of "boominess" that could be tamed with some simple EQ settings..

James, this is really good. The backing tracks sound great. Your lyrics are excellent, i.e. love them, especially the last verse.
I do agree with Floyd in the fact that you voice is a little "boomy".

Thanks everyone! I'm beyond useless with even simple production things, but one's gotta learn, so ... I'm going to experiment with the EQ settings and hopefully, through trial and error, I'll be able to tame this "boominess". It's this wretched mic of mine ... it's boomy by nature, it feels - I've had better ones in the past ... but, again, no excuses ... I'll work on the EQ and see what happens :-)

This video demonstrates how to use the new AI-Notes feature together with the AI-Stems splitter, allowing you to select an audio file and have it separated into individual stems while transcribing each one to its own MIDI track. AI-Notes converts polyphonic audio—either full mixes or individual instruments—into MIDI that you can view in notation or play back instantly.
