Mario - Thanks for the quick reply and your research.

There does not appear to be any way to run it as a VSTi, and I've tried a few other experiments to see if I could get it to work, with all sorts of variations with the ASIO configuration, and so forth. What I discovered is that it will either use the default CoyoteWT VSTi (if the box Use VSTi/DXi Synth is checked), and if it is unchecked I get no MIDI sound at all from anything. Apparently if the other box to Route Through to MIDI driver is not applicable when using ASIO (a popup says it is ignored). So it seems like this MIDI output option is just not going to work no matter what I try. I also tried a similar configuration in RealBand with the same results - no go.

It's not clear if the Winlive Synth driver is just not emulating a MIDI output device that BIAB can handle, or if it's due to my configuration. I'll revisit this if I decide to go with a MIDI synth device in the future.

If anyone has the Winlive Synth MIDI driver working with BIAB, I'd really appreciate if you could tell me how you have it set up.
