Good write. Nice message.
The mix sparkles. You get your vocal to sit in a mix so well. Crisp, clear, but never getting "above the mix".
All the instruments sound good. Acoustic, steel, dobro. Drums! and Bass...

fj Thanks for the fine review, Tom Wow. This song came at the perfect time for me - I was having a bit of an "argument with God" tonight and then I stumbled on this song. Wow. But enough about me. The song is nothing short of genius. The lyrics are pure magic, your voice's depth is extraordinary and makes the song what it is - it's so believable as the father talking to his son. A superb, professional job ... with a message and lyrics that go that extra mile and make this not just good but outstanding. Superb. Bravo. Those are some of the finest comments anyone has ever posted on one of my songs. I truly appreciate you taking the time to listen and write your thoughts, Thanks, Tom

This is a super cool song! Lots of great advice wrapped in a smooth, terrific mix of b/g tracks. And you're pretty good on all those stringed instruments, ya know!
