I was talking to our IT company today fixing a bug in my login procedure to the office and he started downloading Edge. I said isn't that included with the automatic updates and he said no, not yet. MS is aware some don't like too much being automatically installed so right now this is optional. He said he's put it on all machines in the network because it's much more secure, faster and just better. I've written before that Defender is part of Edge and it's integrated into Win 10 but this version is a whole new animal as far as Defender and many other things are concerned.

All you do is type in "microsoft edge" into a search bar and it comes right up. I just did it on my home machine and I have to say, it really looks good. A complete rewrite from the ground up according to the What's New blurbs explaining all the features. Part of that is integrated 4K streaming. Before watching any vids I could already see the overall picture quality is awesome, brighter, clearer, sharper text, better contrast than Firefox and FF is pretty good. I went to some YT vids and all I can say yes, they've done something with streaming that's for sure, they look really good.

It will take some learning and getting used to. It's nothing like Explorer or the current Edge, a total new look and functions but it seems pretty straight forward.
