You put a smile on my heart and in my soul with your words. As far as finding a groove ... that's where it all starts. I generally shy away from instrumentals—just not quite my musical thing . . . but every once In a while I come across one on the BIAB forum that’s too compelling to not listen to. Like this one. It’s slick and engaging—-and that lead guitar just sizzles all song long.; nice use of delay there. For me, the drum is maybe a tad—and just a tad— too much, but you should weigh more the feedback from the production experts on the board on that aspect.

Band-in-a-Box 2026 Video: AI Stems & Notes - split polyphonic audio into instruments and transcribe
This video demonstrates how to use the new AI-Notes feature together with the AI-Stems splitter, allowing you to select an audio file and have it separated into individual stems while transcribing each one to its own MIDI track. AI-Notes converts polyphonic audio—either full mixes or individual instruments—into MIDI that you can view in notation or play back instantly.
