This is a great song, and just a blast to listen to. I too am a Dixieland fan, and you've captured the flair and style of it perfectly. Lyrics are excellent and the vocal is just right for this type of song. Didn't really notice the splosives - the song kept my attention riveted.

Excellent! Well done! As others have said, you nailed the genre--not only the sound and the song structure, but your lyric structure, too--no melisma's, one syllable per note, etc--just like Kern would have done. I've never watched "Show Boat", but I may have to now! Thanks for solid work!
