We listened to both several times.

I was lost in my blues/bluegrass years when punk broke so other than peripheral exposure I'm pretty naive. I was 30 in ’76 — maybe an old guy for the emerging genre smile

But, hey, a good production is a good production even to untutored ears. And this makes me feel I must have missed some pretty cool music during the mid 70's or so. When I came up for air Tom Petty was breaking and that detoured from me going down the punk road I guess.

One of many things we like about your productions is your ability
do an in your face mix and still have so much distinction amongst
all the tracks. I'm clueless as to how you do that.

Kind of a raw and counterintuitively polished vibe simultaneously is the
best way I can describe it.

We like the grit here. Grit is good. Cool guitar, vocal and is that bass every keeping things moving.

Slam on…

PS I’m not gonna offer any “punk ain’t my thing” caveats ‘cause good music is good music…period. My niece’s husband plays in a punk band and this makes me want to pay more attention to what he’s doing.
