So, all I want to do is to render a .WAV file from my BIAB arrangement, so I can load it into my Bandlab Cakewalk DAW. The BIAB song (SGU) uses several style changes which seem too complex for the BIAB Vst, and I cannot load the BIAB file into the DAW BIAB Vst to confirm.
Cakewalk TTS-1 is an option on the drop-down list for the Vst/DXi checkbox in the MIDI device setup screen, and TTS-1 seems to load okay. About 6 mos ago, I was able to render .WAV files successfully, and must have used TTS-1 since I don't use any of the other drop-down synths, but I suspect I made some changes somewhere and now I can no longer do it.
However... BIAB 2020 (64) consistently crashes every time I try to export my song to a .WAV file. The song is all RealTracks, but I also tried other mixed files and they also will crash BIAB.
I see from Forum posts that people are successfully using TTS-1 and I use it consistently in my DAW.
So mark me confused. Can I use TTS-1 as the Vst/Dxi synth? If so, is there any guide on step-by-step how to do it, as I may be missing something?
If I can't use TTS-1, and since I don't need the "sounds" of other Vst/DXi options (as I use an external GM device Roland SD-50) for BIAB playback, what's the simplest solution to being able to export BIAB songs to .WAV files?
Appreciate any available help on this.

I have tried out TTS-1 once about 3 years ago, did not like the sounds very much. Then tried Coyote Forte. A bit ' better'. I used Hypersonic quite a while, and now always Hyper Sonic. The Hyper Sonic SE version is free, and still one of the best IMO. If you like fiddling with sfz files Sforzando (included with BIAB?) might be an option too .... Now this can of worms is open once again

You need to address this issue first. It's likely also to be at least part of the issue you're having with MIDI.
The first thing I suggest you try is resetting BIAB to factory defaults.
The command is found at Options\Return to Factory Defaults

As Charlie Fogle suggested, I reset BIAB 2020 to Factory Settings. Had to use the 2nd option for a full reset as the 1st option (partial reset) didn't work.
Selected the TTS-1 option for "Use Vst/DXi Synth", made sure the box right below for using with MIDI was unchecked.
Tried two different song files rendering to .WAV format using the upper tool row WAV button, and both worked like a charm.
So with no need to change the Audio driver, which is using my Roland SD-50 sound module for both MIDI and Audio drivers (the SD-50 is dual purpose), and since I'm not using BIAB for recording voice, I'm leaving it all alone and not messing with MIDI/Audio options (for now) and getting on with my project using the BIAB song as input into Bandlab Cakewalk for further processing and mixing!

@fiddler2007 - Can you shed some light on how to find Hyper Sonic SE? I tried searching for it and the only hits I get are on Hypersonic from Steinberg and that was discontinued years ago, and from what I understand required a hardware dongle. Is it from Steinberg or someone else?
