Starting from scratch works just fine. It's after switching styles on an already existing file that seems to be problematic.

Weird, as myself & others tested this and couldn't replicate it ..
Wish I could help more
Can you post one of the offending SGU files somewhere?

Note, you can rename a sgu file file extension to txt, jpg or pdf and then attach to a post. For example rename MySong.sgu to MySong.sgu.jpg

To attach the file select the "Switch to Full Reply Screen" button and then click on the "File Manager" link.

that's a great idea Jim - means we can attach a BIAB track easily and simply by fooling the upload mechanism!

Thanks Bob but Pipeline has been renaming files so they can be attached to a post for quite some time. I just recognize genius when I see it and don't mind copying good ideas or sharing those ideas with others.

Thanks a great tip!! How does Pipeline come up with all this stuff?! PG really needs to hire him, at the very least as a consulting subject matter expert.

Thanks Pipeline!

I trust Pipeline when he does it.
He usually gives a good explanation of the expected steps/results.
When using this trick it is good practice to explain like he does.

Historically this trick has been used by nefarious people too, so be careful and give good instructions if doing this.

/Rename an executable file with a different extension.
Have people download it, rename it back and double click it to launch it
Profit!/

Stay safe out there .. and keep your stick on the ice
Websites restrict file extensions for a reason. Renaming a file from a download and then running it does have its risks. Just sayin'

Again I trust Pipeline, but you need to think about it each time you do something like this.

Good point Rharv. So if I do this and it blows up...would that be your fault too?

Just wonderin" laugh
