Here's another one of Di's vocals we wrote and recorded in 2011. A few folks are still asking to hear some of our earlier posts again, particularly Di's vocals. For those newer forum members, Di's declining health rarely allows her to sing anymore. Unfortunately, we no longer have a list of the backing tracks. It's me on guitar and Di on vocals, but after that, I have no idea who was playing on the various tracks. I do know it was recorded using BIAB V 2011.5. We were new to the PG Music User's Forum. It was one the first 5 or 6 songs we posted. We hope you enjoy this replay. Also, we are in the process of having a new custom home built. It seems the meetings and paperwork never ends! I listen to and comment on as many songs posts on the forum as I can. if I happen to miss one of yours, I'm sorry. I adjusted that clock in multiple ways ... but it only gave me 24 hours each day, no matter I did! I'll do my best to listen in return. Thanks in advance! Thank you, Misha. Di was very happy when she read your comment! I do not have very many of her earlier song I can post here as many of them were recorded using a different program for the backing tracks. We respect PG Music's request to post only original songs and they should have at least one BIAB track. There are 12 or 15 songs we wrote and recorded between 2010 and 2013 using the other program. But, as I said, we shouldn't post them here.
We still have a couple more originals we recorded using BIAB tracks we posted 5 or 6 years ago I can repost ... and will. Unfortunately, her health is so bad she doesn't have the strength to sing an entire song. She's working with therapists to try to build her strength. We'll just have to wait and see.
Also, she has more than 1,000 recordings posted on another site, but they're all cover songs.

Your first and foremost priorities are taking care of Di and supervising the building of your new home.
Alan, that is some super sweet guitar chops! And Di's vocal is fantastic. The mix was perfect. I would by an album of songs like this!

The first words that come to mind when listening to this song is: class act. That's what you and Di are. I've never heard a song of yours that you've posted on here that didn't have that elegance, that high level of class about it - and this one is, of course, no exception. That's your trademark, to my ears at least! :-) And Di's voice ... world class. I wouldn't bat an eyelid if I heard this on the radio.
I hope that Di recovers well and that your new home brings you nothing but joy. Forget about everything else - there are priorities and things that are more important in life than just listening to all of our songs on here :-) - and right now, of course, you have to take care of your wife and of your new home's coming into being. I, for one, am just grateful that you still somehow managed to get some time to post songs such as this one - because it has, very genuinely and honestly, enriched me - soul-wise - so thanks!!! Whenever (if!) you have time, I'd love to hear more :-) but, of course, put yourselves first and take care :-)

An absolutely wonderful vocal that is supported so well by the lyric and your guitar.
As we oft say a production, irrespective of genre, either has soul or it doesn't.
