Folks, at the very end of a song I'm putting together, I want to tie over a chord that occupies 1/2 of a measure to the next measure, and I want this to be a held chord, across all RealTracks, for the entire measure and a half. The song I'm working on has a basic skeletal group of instruments -- guitar, keys, bass, and drums.
I can almost just use the last measures of the piece, the ending obviously, and then do a cut and paste in Cakewalk, but the keys have different voices for the final chord, which are incompatible with the sequence leading up to the held chord.
I dunno. I don't play much keyboards, but I'm thinking it might actually just be easier to play the last chord on one of my synths and paste it where it needs to go.
