David, this is really good. It reminded my a lot of John Prine. You picked the perfect backing tracks for this song. This may be your best vocal to date.

I would just say Wow, just wow. This is such a poignant, thoughtful and emotion provoking song.
It reminds me of "The Answer is Blowing in the Wind", only, I say in sincere honesty better.

Good choice with the guitar - it's a good contrast with the vocal line.
Bringing in the strings on the second half was really effective.
Love the title, and the rest of the lyrics don't disappoint!
Nice emoting on the vocal as well.

Excellent song. Hello David ... I fully agree with Mario's comments - particularly the John Prine reference. I like the simple arrangement ... perfect for the piece.
