I would hope that you were given the option whether to download and install or to give it a miss Jim. I am version 1909 here, it installed back in February. But the updates always download and install automatically, is there a place in Windows were you can set it so that it gives you the option of whether or not to install an update? Yes, sort of. In Settings (the cog wheel icon after clicking in the lower left corner), go to Windows Updates. There are options which include manual installation and delaying for (I think) one week after Microsoft rolls it out for your PC.
