Hi Floyd,

That's very kind. I always value your input and I'm pleased you liked this one.

That U87 - yes, it's one of only two bits of kit which I hung on to when we
sold the studio back in the 90s. I couldn't bear to be without it.
It's a fabulous mic, but it can be too transparent at times - it shows up all
the deficiencies in my voice! It would sound great with your voice though and if you
lived just that bit closer, I'd be happy for you to borrow it...

The other bit of kit? The Syntovox vocoder!
