I think a touch of reverb would work wonders on your vocal.

Nice tempo and melody.
About the vocals you already heard some comment. Vocals are always difficult (in my experience). Too much sibbilance, too loud, too soft, too close, too far away etcetera, etcetera. In your case thiss all happened too. So keep learning on it. Your songs are too good not to.

You’ve gotten a ton of great feedback on this song. Just chilling in to say I enjoyed it and think it has a ton of potential. Love the use of the horns and the jazzy feel to this one. A little more spit and polish and you’ll have yourself something with this one. Nice work!

Man, I missed this forum. So much talent on it, it's unbelievable - and no two people are ever the same on here. This is DEFINITELY a worthy re-entry from you ... the style choice is inspired, the lyrics beautiful and the music writing itself simply wonderful. The lyrics twist at the end is brilliant. Band-in-a-Box 2026 Video: AI Stems & Notes - split polyphonic audio into instruments and transcribe
This video demonstrates how to use the new AI-Notes feature together with the AI-Stems splitter, allowing you to select an audio file and have it separated into individual stems while transcribing each one to its own MIDI track. AI-Notes converts polyphonic audio—either full mixes or individual instruments—into MIDI that you can view in notation or play back instantly.
