Cool tune. Yep... Good topic too. I liked it.
I found it a hard thing to write about my kids growing up and leaving home. Always a dramatic change.

Hi Guitarhacker, I found it hard too, although this is more about how we dealt with it when the kids had left. It is written a bit romantic, or sweet (as Ray would say ). but it is the way it goes and should go. Getting used to this is a bit like 'conquering eternity' although it is so normal that we are not aware of it. that is the meaning of the last line. I like to think of these things in such a way. The lone guitar at the start is very effective and fits the moods. Nice build with the instrumentation.

Hi tuneMonger, about your first sentence, I had to look up in Google. I didn't know the meaning of 'accolades'. In Dutch we have the same word but then they mean the signs for and after this word in my line. It is a French word meaning 'a hug'. Thanks for your nice comment! I received an email from a Dutch musician saying that I reached the first place in a SoundCloud ranking for sing a songwriters and also a high ending in another chard (top 50 of the week). My son, who is in Mexico now, confirmed it, so it must have been an international ranking. I expected my phone will be ringing constantly from producers and fans. Also the amount of listeners will get sky high and I become (more) famous now. I started searching for a new house with a greater studio. The day after I noticed nothing happened, but it was a nice moment of fame... The lone guitar at the start is very effective and fits the moods. Nice build with the instrumentation.
