I realized that I had named the mp3 of the track the same as the song file. I guess when you do that, BIAB wants to be helpful and imports the file into the audio track of the song.
That's the way the program is designed to work. If an audio file matches the name of the BIAB file, then BIAB will play the audio file along with your BIAB file. It's been that way since BIAB first supported audio in addition to MIDI.
