This is actually up to you. MY personal preference is to record all the MIDI tracks as individual audio tracks. That gives me a lot of control in the audio domain for effects, panning, volume adjustments and editing of a single track, instead of having everything clumped together in a single audio track.

However, there are people who do it that way, and have good results.

Doing as much in the MIDI domain as possible is good, but I still like to have control over individual tracks.
