on another forum i'm on people are reporting various plug ins
that crash daws. ones made with synth edit are often cited.
it really depends how the plug in is coded.
the name of the game with plug ins is to test em thoroughly before
useing in proper sessions.
if i find a plug in is a resource hog or trouble..
i dont care how good...it gets deleted.
(to save me re typing lots , ive posted a couple of plug in
tips in my tips thread in the tips n triks section of the forum.)
also be aware if ya gonna use oodles of plug ins n real time
softsynths in daws that , depending how they are coded..
they can suck up puter resources like no tomorrow.,
(memory n processing power.)
this is why lots of studios are now starting to use i7 processors
with lotsa memory.
