I enjoy singing "A Pirate Looks At 40" by Jimmy Buffett. We do it a bit slower and I make it a bit more melancholy.

I play Christopher Cross' "Sailing" on the wind synth, and that's fun. I use a soprano sax patch.

I sing "Beyond The Sea" - Bobby Darin-ish version and that's a lot of fun.

We play Frankie Ford's "Sea Cruise" and it's fun to sing and play guitar on.

I sing the Beach Boy's "Surfin USA" and struggle with a guitar solo that is 80% energy and 20% technique. The energy pulls it off to the audience. laugh

We don't play it but "Cool Change" by the Little River band is nice.

I'm not a big fan of much of Claude Debussy's music, but I think "La Mer" fits his impressionist style very well and I like that one a lot.

Tchaikovsky's "The Tempest" which is about the Shakespearean storm at sea is a great piece of music.

Gino Vannelli's "Storm At Sunup" is nice too.

And I like "Wooden Ships" by CSN a lot as well.

Van Morrison's "Into The Mystic" is another good one.

Billy Ocean's "Caribbean Queen" is another good one. Did you ever notice the rhythm was borrowed from Michael Jackson's "Billie Jean"?

But a favorite? Sorry, they are too many great ones to pick just one.

LOL, nice Danny! I often thought that of the song too but it's a good one.
