I feel the same way, especially about the change groups part.

And when I'm on the gig, I really don't care if I like it or not, I just play them (see previous post about the wasp nest and the telephone pole).

Our rule was they paid so we played. It didn't matter what we thought of the song. They are paying us to play for them. I did the bookings so I could weed out gigs that did not match our repertoire, like gigs that wanted all country or all rock, etc. I had a very successful career leading a wedding band.


I'm no longer allowed to go caroling at the psych hospital.
