Bob Calver Veteran Joined: Sep 2001 Posts: 2,110 Essex England	I am puzzled that the driver exe file installs a different version having detected the operating system but i'll take your word for it. the name of the unit in device manager shouldn't matter if you choose the behringer driver in BIAB. device manager shouldn't come into it. Frankly if youtube sounds bad as well as BIAB and the behringer unit works fine with the behringer driver on the old lap top I'm out of suggestions. Up to you but frankly in your position I'd give up, insist on a refund and buy another make of laptop. it really shouldn't be this difficult. regardless of BIAB requirements if you can't get youtube and mp3s to sound right, that's the line to take with Dell. they can easily claim that BIAB is a problem and not help but if mp3s don't play right they can't escape the fact that the unit is faulty.
