Wouldn't have mattered if you saved the bad version, you'd be able to open a backup and get back to a good version  Well usually. For the long ending, instead of scrolling to the end, save time by using From-Thru; set it to start one bar after the song ends and Thru to bar 3000. Doesn't matter if you go way past the real end point. Then Cut (and Close Gap). At least it worked for me when I saw this weirdness. I haven't seen it in a long time though. What version of RB? good idea... I usually do use that dialog. In this case I wanted the visual satisfaction of watching the serpent's head get severed. I had to go look because I have multiple computers with old versions of BIAB installed. As it turns out, for this project I was using Power Tracks 2014. When I'm not generating tracks I like to use it because its pretty stable. Having said that, its kind of a moot point citing problems I encounter in software that is 6 years old, and wrong forum to boot. My bad.
