you don't need ASIO4ALL. WAS should give you record and playback in synch with BIAB and RB. ASIO4ALL is a distraction. it's not a real ASIO diver just a software emulation designed for use for DAWs without an external interface. and yes i've had the same problem when i tried to use an ASIO driver from Creative with my soundblaster. occasionally sound would become horrendous and i had to restart and that was with a proprietary ASIO diver designed for the specific onboard sound I had. forget ASIO4ALL. WAS should work with your onboard sound so you record without latency, or maybe your REALTEK ASIO driver will now work fine. as i said ASIO4All is a distraction you don't need.

so that is the onboard sound sorted. next is to use the behringer unit with the behringer ASIO driver. i'd suggest using phones direct into the behringer when you are recording because if its like my 204HD the phones volume knob allows you to mix the BIAB output and the input of what you are playing to a balance that you like for recording purposes.

when you've not got the behringer connected revert to WAS drivers which is what i do.

seems like the laptop was the problem all along.
