As regards your request for a range of cutting-edge and creative musics including electronic, advanced avantgarde jazz etc.. it's probably best to be specific as Matt suggests. Those catch-all terms cover a lot of ground.

Maybe PG have the idea is that other programs cater for the 'post- rock/ post-everything' trance/dance/electronica crowd and BIAB has found its niche market in the more 'mainstream entertainment' based styles. I don't know.

Or maybe anything in the direction of 'serious musical experimentation' doesnt lend itself so easily to the concept of auto accompaniment. In any event given the preferences of the overwhelming majority of most BIAB users its not difficult to see why they havent made inroads into these areas.
