Here's something I am struggling with, and will explain as best I can. In Realband, is there a way one can double the bpm of a given midi tune and still keep the apparent playback speed the same? I have a midi song previously recorded by someone else with the wrong meter / tempo combination. It was created with a meter / tempo combination of 4/4 and 80 bpm, but really should have been recorded at 4/4 and 160bpm. Playback sounds the way it should tempo-wise at 4/4 and 80bpm, but the underlying structure has the the appearance of 8/8. I know, I could probably just work with the file as is, but I've run into this situation before and am wondering if there is a way to address it.

I thought maybe I could get at this by using the "Edit - Length Of Midi Music" command, adjusting the percentages and tempos there, but no matter what combination I use I can't seem to get the desired result of twice the bpm but same playback sound/tempo. Maybe there's another way to do this that I'm not seeing. Any help appreciated, thanks.
