While this feature hasn't seemed to get much attention, I wonder if it might be more useful than many think. During the pandemic many of us are making videos. At least one popular iOS app, Acapella, requires a backing track to be a video.

I've used BIAB's "Save as Video (upload to Youtube etc.)" for a number of videos.
Are you saying that the Acapella app requires a video displaying what chords are being played
(as BIAB shows) as well as the Audio?
If so, then BIAB would seem to be perfectly suited to the task.

Lloyd, I think so. I've only started using Acapella. It cannot use an audio file as backing; it must be a video, even if it's a blank screen to play an audio file. Having a video of the chords etc. is even better.
I've only converted audio files to video format so far, but I agree BIAB could be very userful here as a much more interesting video.

I've used BIAB's "Save As - Save as Video" function on several dozen BIAB songs that I load into phone and tablet to use as live performance backing tracks. Just connect the phone/tablet to amp/PA (bluetooth or cable). It's nice that the screen keeps up with the chords without having to change pages. Works well, but I don't sing so don't have to deal with lyrics, though I expect that could be done.

My process must be similar to John's.
I've included lyrics in quite a few of my videos.
I play the video file on my tablet while singing and playing guitar/banjo/harp
(not at the same time, unfortunately LOL).
I've also created videos to post on youtube.
There, I usually just show a static photo, and have an MP3 from BIAB playing with it.
I assume that would work for the Acapella app.

I find the videos that are created lag, i.e. the cursor is not in time with the music that is being heard. Is there a setting or something I am missing to get the cursor to follow along in time with the music?
My wife asked if I had seen the dog bowl. I told her I didn't even know he could.

Most video editor software allows you to timeslip the audio versus video so you could get that to sync up. Just do a search in the forums for video editor and you'll see lots of hits on previous discussions on them. Good Luck!

I use Presonus Studio One 5 and it as the time slip video feature.
Sound turns out really well and you can add the tracks from Band in a Box if desired.
Expensive? Yes, but I use it daily.

One thing worth pointing out about Studio One 5 is the significant additions made to the entry level version (Artist, not the free Prime version). It's still $100, but now includes 3rd party VST support that was a paid add-on for earlier versions, so you can use the BiaB VST plugin in Artist!
