Let’s say you want to transpose that bar up one step. You could say from C to D. Or F to G. It wouldn’t matter since everything goes up one step. The problem occurs when you get odd enharmonic spelling of notes if you don’t understand key signatures. In other words, you have notes and chords with several flats and all of a sudden in that one bar there are sharps. Best to learn what the key signature really is.

EDIT: I see you just included the detail it’s a half-step.
