Thanks, Matt -> I definitely pulled a boner here. I do have the Windows version, yet neglected to check on the Edit menu - it's currently sometime in the middle of the night here in Europe . . .

I just checked on the Bar settings feature and on some rightclick menu options. The Edit transpose feature requires 'from key' and 'to key', just as the original poster mentioned.

I am not sure I understand the addressed problem here. What does KGU 2 mean by 'since the key changes in the song'? Songs often run through a variety of keys, yet are usually notated with just one key signature. It is this key signature that is meant by 'Key from' at the Edit transpose menu.
