Just me having fun with my wind controller.

BiaB style - KG Ballad - Smooth Jazz - very Slow
Note I modified every track to suit the song.

Drums - TX16W - GM - Standard kit
Bass - Ample Sound - upright bass
Piano - Kontakt - 00_Harp_SUS
Guitar - Kontakt - Pure Jazz Vibes
Strings - SynthMaster 2 - Pad Organic Pad FW

I am playing my wind controller using - Kontakt - Pan Flute 01, FX= Presonus Pro EQ and Wave's Vocal Rider.

Raum reverb was used on all tracks except the bass and drums.

Hi Mario, very nice piece, almost mystic and sometimes haunting. May I suggest maybe bringing your performance a little to the front?
Good work though.
Regards

Mike B.

Wish we had the talent to have fun like that smile

As Mike mention it has mystic and haunting feel. But the upbeat groove offers a great counterpoint to that.

Most enjoyable!

Mario,
pretty! Nice progression and playing! Something that would fit in a modern interpretation of One Thousand and One Nights stories. The only thing, I am not a big fan of GM drums. Try Drummica (Kontakt-free) Thank you for sharing!

Misha.

Mario,

I love the hollowed out sound of this one. You are a master of the wind controller... I can easily hear this as a movie track.

Great stuff!

Bob

Thanx Mike. I will look at bringing the lead more up front as soon as time permits. Thanx for pointing that out.

Thanx Misha. I have much better drums than these, including some great Kontakt percussion presets. I was just lazy on this one and I didn't put each drum on its own track like I have done in the past.

Wind controllers are great for horns, woodwinds, and just about every other instrument that is either monophonic or can be played monophonic, like a lead violin for example.

Thanx Bob. I am no master of the wind controller. The end product is MIDI so I can correct and/or modify everything if need be.

Hello MarioD,

It's really original and enjoyable this track. It is rare to give jazzy sounds to a panflute and it is successful.

Best regard

Hi Mario,

You do nice things with your windcontroller! The (pan)flute is a nice example of it. And I like the 'easy' drums in this melody. Fits nice. So I don't mind you were just lazy on them (putting them in one track).

Have a nice day,
Hans

Thanx Dero13. I like to experiment with different instruments and put them in different genres. I appreciate that you found this experiment successful.
