Charlie Fogle Veteran C Joined: Apr 2013 Posts: 8,675 South Carolina	This video, recently posted, uses the Cakewalk DAW to automate a mix to the Tascam DP-24 or 32 using MIDI. The Model 12 has DAW control and looking at the Model 12 manual, the Model 12 recorded tracks on the SD card may also have the capability to be automated by a software DAW like Cakewalk or hardware MIDI sequencer. If so, this puts both the Tascam multi track recorders and these new hybrid mixers on equal par with digital mixers costing thousands of dollars more than these units. Particularly for the DP-24/32 devices, they have internal digital faders that react to the MIDI control messages so they function exactly as a motorized fader would...
