Looks like we hit a home run with this one with you baseball fans. ;-) Thanks.

The news has been so depressing lately, I just needed to write something fun and distracting.

Frank, Glad you enjoyed it. San Diego is a lovey city and the naval port is so awesome.

Ezekiel S, I feel for you. At least the Cubs finally broke their WS drought. They'll be contenders for years to come. I can't take much credit for the organ. I could have played it like that but the RealTrack 686 was just right. It had to be the featured instrument.

Scott, I grew up on Long Island NY and remember the "Miracle Mets" of 1969. This was better. Thanks for listening.

Alan,

With all that's going on it's been hard to find time for music.

I'm glad you liked the song. I tried to make more than just a story song about a baseball team.

We lived near St Louis for three years in the 1990s and were big Cards fans as well. That's one nice thing about a long military career, you wind up with a lot of ex-home teams.

That's way cool that your father was a major-leaguer. What team? My father played in the minors and had a try-out at old Ebbits field for the Brooklyn Dodgers.

Max is our our hero. We lived a few blocks from the Hall of Famer Bob Gibson in Nebraska back in the early 90s. Never met him but saw him frequently.

Take care everyone.

Best wishes
