We had to put down our 1 Yorkie last night. I am heartbroken. She was a rescue and was with me for nearly 5 years.
She enjoyed my retirement more than me....
Her trachea collapsed and she was basically smothering. Apparently it a Yorkie breed thing/defect.
They considered an op but put the prognosis at 10% success at best.
