Just enter C in the left hand cell and G in the right hand cell. The C will play beats 1 & 2 and the G will play beat 3
To play separate chords on each beat, separate the first two chords with a comma, like this:
C,F G
The C will play on beat 1, the F will play on beat 2, the G will play on beat 3

Band-in-a-Box 2026 Video: AI Stems & Notes - split polyphonic audio into instruments and transcribe
This video demonstrates how to use the new AI-Notes feature together with the AI-Stems splitter, allowing you to select an audio file and have it separated into individual stems while transcribing each one to its own MIDI track. AI-Notes converts polyphonic audio—either full mixes or individual instruments—into MIDI that you can view in notation or play back instantly.
