If you were in Band in a Box I'd suggest deleting the file interface.bbw. Perhaps you could try it, I don't know if they both use them.
Of course you rebooted the computer, and anything that's usb is plugged into the first port it ever arrived in right?
Thanks, I had to unplug the BIAB hard drive and switch ports to force it to reinstall so it's fine now but nothing else worked so I don't have a clue as to what the cause was
