I have this album on my phone and listen to it when I cut the grass and have the time to just get into it. Highly impressive solo..... not fancy, just tasty.

You can find my music at: www.herbhartley.com Add nothing that adds nothing to the music. You can make excuses or you can make progress but not both.
The magic you are looking for is in the work you are avoiding.
I've been following Joe Bonamassa for some time now and have a few of his CD's. Great player of course, but also a pretty good songwriter too IMHO. Puts on a great show, I've seen him in concert twice.

Glad you mentioned Elle King - we recently saw her on a Daryl’s House show and were amazed. Great singer!
We’ll mention Larkin Poe. Those two sisters have us HOOKED. If not familiar they started in bluegrass and now do a lot of blues but their main thing is amazing covers with typically a Strat and lap steel. Just the two of them at home and they were doing that well before the shutdown. Everything from Delta blues, to modern blues, to heavy metal to roots rock to folk rock to Indie to progressive rock and more. At least initially we'd suggest forgoIng the stage stuff and watch the ones with just the two of them in front of their computer. They have a zillion songs on YT.

LARKIN POE! How could I have forgotten about them... I ABSOLUTELY LOVE them! Their original work and covers are phenomenal. I can't think of anything they've released that I don't thoroughly enjoy.
But seriously, I listen to so much different musical genres depending on my mood. Some of my favorites, though, are:
Chicago, Simon and Garfunkel, Maynard Ferguson, Little River Band, Billy Joel, Kansas, Eagles, Alan Parsons Project, Mozart, Beethoven, Bach, Jim Reeves, Alabama, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Elton John, Beatles, Paul McCartney, Burton Cummings, Journey, Carole King, James Taylor, AC/DC, David Allan Coe, Earth Wind And Fire, Frank Sinatra, Henry Mancini, Glenn Miller, Tony Bennett, Bill Chase, and the list goes on. My smartphone has a 256GB SD card in it and I've got about 3000 albums of MP3 files currently loaded (headed towards 5000 as I continue digitizing my record album collection).
