Ahoy y'all,
I'm new to the forum and couldn't find a prior article on this. What are you using to get MIDI events from your voice, a horn or, in my case harmonica? I see a bunch of software out there and the ones I can try have too much information. I realize it's a tricky proposition to get analog to digital (compared to the other way around) but I have to believe something out there can do a good job with a single instrument, devoid of any other sound, and with a good db separation from noise. I'd prefer something that will go from a mic to MIDI but if you're having good results going from mic to digital audio (.wav,etc.) then to MIDI I'd be open to that too.
