I know that you simply can't digitize harmonica over/undertones and wouldn't even try. I realize though, my mind sometimes comes up with melodies while playing harp or even whistling that my fingers would never find. I used a little freeware piece called "NoteWhistler" that I can find no longer and it would come up with a pretty accurate single line of melody from whistling, singing, etc. It was useful as a point of departure to build songs or for me to come up with odd harmony parts that I could then transcribe for the others in the band. I'll try the Celemony software. Coming from a horn player that's probably a good recommendation.
